What is it?

The NHS Transformathon was a fantastic, free, 24-hour, online, global event that brought together health and care staff and service users to connect, share and learn from each other.

It showcased the latest innovations, practices and methods that inspire you with ways to make change happen.

What did the NHS Transformathon cover?

Each session featured change leaders, health and care professionals and patients discussing how they are making changes to improve their local health and care services, and the methods they are using to do this.

We heard how patient leadership, co-production, social media and human centred design are directly improving outcomes for patients. We’re going found out how crowd sourcing, making films and using social media are improving health and care services.

Running alongside the broadcast there were a number of live hacks, working to address local issues and develop solutions, with the help of NHS Transformathon’s global audience.

This event is for everyone, so that together, through our ideas, methods and actions, we can improve patient care.
