How can innovation labs accelerate change through design methods focused on service users?

28.01.2016

11:00 - 12:00 GMT

Description

In a time of reduced funding and unprecedented change, there has never been a greater need for innovation to solve the problems affecting health, housing and social care. The team from Bromford Lab present a provocative slot looking at how change can be fast tracked through the use of innovation labs that break through organisational silos – to focus on the end user. The session will look at how fast failure and testing can de-risk radical change. It will include interviews with colleagues and service users who have taken part in “Lab Experiments”. Innovation Coach, Paul Taylor and Lab Manager, Vicky Green will invite participants to share examples of what works – and what needs to change if we are to achieve cultures of experimentation. There will be a panel discussion around how approaches to innovation will develop in 2016 and beyond. Change is changing – and so too are attitudes to innovation.
