I am Head of Transformation, Horizons Group, NHS England working alongside Dr Helen Bevan Horizons’ work is at the forefront of NHS improvement initiatives that have made a difference for tens of thousands of patients. We run and support cutting-edge change initiatives across the healthcare system, including Randomised Coffee Trials, NHS Change Day and the School for Change Agents. Our team includes a range of nationally recognised experts in organising, social movement theory, large-scale change and related methodologies. We convert theory into practical outcomes with system-wide impact. We share a mission to change the world through transforming healthcare for the better. In 2015/16 I was a US-UK Fulbright Commission Scholar and Visiting Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. I am a barrister-at-law (Call 2006) and practiced Public and Employment Law at 11KBW Chambers for several years. As National Director of the award-winning social enterprise Movement for Change, I led a national team in the development of political strategy, implementing an internationally recognised Community Organising training programme. I combine specialist legal expertise with both Public Policy and political experience. I periodically consult into and advise social enterprises, companies, political organisations and public bodies at a senior level.
