WHAT WE THINK

I wish I could say that this article will tell you all that you need to know about #MatExp. But that would be impossible – #MatExp is an ever evolving change platform and it cannot be put in a box or fitted onto a chart. It is ANYONE – the point is to join like minded people who spur you on and with whom you can network and collaborate. No hierarchy, all voices – you’d think it would be chaos but its achieving change every day. A good idea takes flight and those that don’t work so well get quietly abandoned. No one needs to set agendas or enforce standards or be “in charge” – we just get on with what we think needs doing, question one another, challenge one another and learn from one another.

This inspiring post from Gill Phillips will give you a feel for the passion behind the campaign and will help you to understand that we can all make a contribution, we can all change the world. Every time you change what you do as a result of listening to families and colleagues, every time you tell your story and make your voice be heard, you have changed the world for the better.

If you want to make change happen then make change happen. Don’t ask for permission or wait for someone else to lead the way. Start today. “Be the change you want to see in the world”.
